Taxi Driver

He is Mr.Muhammad, a taxi driver when pick me from Bencolen St. Singapore to Changi Airport. I think he is good people, he say his grand father is Javanese so can speak Javenese to. Yes we talking more about Indonesia, Soekarno the first President of Indonesia because many people in Asia almost known who is Soekarno.

As long as youth age, Mr. Muhammad is army for British Government in Singapore, so he know more about political in Asia, specially Indonesia too. Yes I must thanking to him because he told more about my history of nation.
Mr. Muhammad next time I want meet you.

Where is me?

Traveling is my hobby and I need to spending times to do this activities. More and more again to feels and reviewed my journey. Yeah traveling sometimes likes a spiritual times, give a free space in my life.

Heritage Tourism

In season of holiday most people prepare planning to get a tourism or traveling with couple or family. Many choice destination as we want to go. May be one of that is heritage tourism. Relive a last history by short journey and know what the last human life and culture. Visit to a sacred place is needed by people to know aim in future. The human life is long story and history and sometimes we do not know what happened at last years ago. A traveling, journey is a one of short method to do it. Because our next generation would be prepared for it.

The photograph is my documentation when I visit to Cameroon Highland Pahang Malaysia. A hill with plant tea building by British as Malaysia colony. Here, I am can feels how British was build this region to be one of planter in Asia.

What kind of important the history for us?

May be every body have different opinion, but for me history is very important about who is me, where is me, etc.

I want to get my future

Developing self is my orientation now, after long time spending time just to claim problems. I am forget that is the times to starting again, step by step. Wrong is wrong, everybody have last memories and I do not want to tell this.
I know not enough power to show my self, but I know should to try and be continued my step. Some agenda must be prepare soon. June and July I get a job to traveling and earning money, end of July go to Singapore to get symposium at Singapore. Meet most artist form all the world and presentation my artwork. It is big work for my artwork. There is exhibition, symposium, residency, exchange program.
Ah, traveling and traveling. Get a new friend and knowledge. Goodbye my memories, I want to come out and play. Sometimes I want to tell my artwork and traveling for you and someone I am still love next time.

What is human needed?

What is human needed?

In cultivate inter humanity daily, no neglectful that people need each other to in particular as humanism done. Be appreciated, to appreciate, take and give.

Ever once times when I has problem about to appreciate, be appreciated and makes me long time for thinking it. As human of course I always appreciated other people by my method. No people in the world enough perfect in all thing. Because I am understand that appreciated value of minus in self every people it mean appreciated in all more. I need to learn it because very important to building my self in future. How to see other people? How to place matter in the right? Every people have different point is common in discuss, but no to claim who is wrong or right. It is no fair.

Why we must to take and give?

Because of no people always right in the life. More people needed supporting and appreciate more that all what we have is for other people too. But we must do it in the clear portion. It is simple but difficult to starting firstly.

Story of Sadness

Friendship with sadness is a note’s was I write when I meet with a painter at Malaysia. The introduced and than intensity to talking about artwork till in a times he invited me to come to his painting studio at Syah Alam region.

The studio in a place shop’s area is no insight as art studio. I go into studio later than saw a wide studio, because I do not have a studio possible next time. Some painting looked line at the wall, and the other waiting the finishing process. Long time I stop suddenly and feels the different image at the painting, almost painting is absurd. Husin the painter told me that he was trying to describe about world and harmony. He looked very sad when told me almost our world, earth, forest etc almost destroyed by industries and human error. I called Poetry of Sadness for his painting and than I write about that and send it to him. Some day he call me and say that very like my writing and would to place in to painting catalog while prepared. I just smile heard it news.

Last time, my friend (woman) told me that she has a new friend (man) and she very interesting by attributed of Gods of him. I looked her eyes blank to long year future. I know she is often dreaming to meet a man alike that, and feels sad very deep I think.

What relation first story about painting and second story about woman dream? No thing. I just want to tell you that of both story is has theme sadness relation. A hope is so far to get it. A hope about harmony in life, painting from imagination and a friend for really couple in future. Is it a sadness. Yes, romantic of sadness.

Thailand - Malaysia Border

A times I traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Thailand crossing Pangkalan Kubor (Malaysia) and Tak Bai (Thailand) for 2 days. In this border is free tax trading. Every days many people (trader) from Malaysia come to Tak Bai to buying clothing, fruit and vegetable. Because Thailand have very cheap price than Malaysia, included about value of money ( 1 RM = 1000 Bath). For 500 RM you can buy anything here, but I am not buy more. Just buy any pack Thailand cigarette for my friend.

At night before entered Tak bai, I go to night market and here is very cheap too. Clothing, shoes, belt and most Thailand product, and part product from Indonesia likes bed. I buy some watch for my friend, daughter and kids of my friend. Yes I remember them because very supporting me before I go to Malaysia to get Art Residency Program. It is just for thanks giving.

If you want to know, from Malaysia just 30 RM traveling by Bus, 20 RM for taxi,1 RM for shipping, 30 RM for hostel and few RM for shopping if you want. But you must be carefully because Tak Bai is part Patanni is being revolt to Thailand government. There for I am not spending more time here, as that time Thailand has election. Many army in border and surrounding harbor.

This traveling is long time I go out surrounding In west Malaysia. Nice experience and I have story here. But I do not want to tell you now, may be next time. Completed my story in Thailand border. And you know, may be just me Indonesian traveler at that time.

Positive Thinking

Human life as long as journey in the times not go in stability, there for sometimes happened. Instability and emotional condition could meet even long depression in our life. Last trauma is one of partisan and make us difficult to make decision.

As human normally, I has likes that problem. So tired to starting again, and so heavy to make concentrate in working and thinking. Every times, every day it is so dark, imagination in darkness. Have no power to do something, shirk and be a lazy bone. Not see more in the future. It is bad experience for me.

Subliminal my self, than I thinking that when I would take way out in my life. Fiasco, wrong step, frustration etc is always in life traveling but why me not to try better. Back again to take my dream and hope in the future. I think every people not meet right way, if we not go out to our problem. Problem is just problem. I must to fighting against, and forget it the last.

Meet old friend, family and out the world and opened my mined.
Yes it is my condition now and last time. But now I learning again to back my self. Doing, trying and get positive thinking, I believe if me serious and keep my spirit so I should in stability and concentrate in working.

I believe it.

Election

Not far again Indonesia will be come election, is second process in new system election. For third country, election always ask high cost, in material or non material. More than celebration by the party system.

Just now petrol make many people in any country go to way to protest the policy. America is big nation with big cost in petrol. Property business in America is one problem in smash up and influence to any sector in any country.

Now, In America was prepared an election, and everyones just waiting who is the winner and make new policy to help most nation in this crisis. Obama or Hillary Clinton is not important. Many people in the world hope to the winner can make new alteration, and better economic from long crisis.

Stop war and make peace the world. Back to natural life and limited to petrol consumption. Election in America is hope for most people in the world.

Mural

Have you been saw mural?
Mural is different by graffiti. Graffiti is social protest likes did noise from underground opinion, lost people in city. But mural is generation from graffiti, how to make beautiful landscape and public space.

If you travel in Yogyakarta Indonesia this landscape is very easy founding by you. Almost every public space full by mural and part of graffiti. Here all people very appreciate by art public and care to their public. May be almost public space could be painting and welcome to "muralis" called to mural maker.

Mural same with art public movement. It is new movement at least 1990's and popular in 2000's. Everywhere, every moment many artist competition to make mural and give freshen up to public. Mural is social giving to still spirit in the life fighting and keep public space. Do not think if mural disturb public space, because any people need to feels and enjoying city everyday and every times. It is free entertainment for low class and all class.

A Friendship

My age is entered 30 years old in this years, 2008. Graduated from University on 2003, as long as after study at University I was lose part of my friends. Now I was trying to survive out my home and far from friends. I do not know what I want now, but I fells I need friend to share and talking about as dream as.

Last Years ago, I leave my home at central Java Indonesia to Yogyakarta to learn more about my dream in art and photography. As while as before I gone I have a new friend at Yogyakarta very needed friend to hearing about her life. It is one of part my reason, why I live at Yogyakarta now.

6 months live at Yogyakarta I has an opportunity to join an art program in Malaysia, so I gone there for 3 months. Again I feeling so lonely there, in new place and new country. I do not know more about that country, I have no friend just know there is my brother working at Malaysia and I don know they are live until times I get one of them number phone and I meet they are. Oh, it is alike journey to find a friendship.

As long as concentrate to make artwork, I tired and need come out to know surrounding Kuala Lumpur. I do not know more where I must go on. And again I am meet a new friend from a same resident and he help me to wasting time at night or a day when we need go out.

Now, I still live at Yogyakarta. Many friend here I know but they are more activity, and I still here in front computer to writing, to browsing more knowledge. Sometimes tired and need a friend to hearing my story. Because I do not have special friend now. She is gone left me when I very need a friend. She really gone and so bad for me, may be it is the best for him because of me a jobless and no future. But she says want to keep this friendship and take care to still take and give. Yeah, I should to trust him and keep this. I try it, a new friendship starting by zero.

I am sure in other time I would get a new friend which would hearing my story. And by this blog I hope more friend could read my story, my idea and etc. To sharing how the best I must to do.

End Year 2007

End year 2007 I was traveling to Cameroon Highland, Malaysia. With my friend driving car from Kuala Lumpur to spending time in the last day and enjoying it. I saw plant tea and more about agriculture. What I see?

Why Tea Time?

Tea Time, is a definition of my time to thinking while enjoying a rest time. And tea is my favorite drink like a social tradition drinking at my place, Indonesia.

In this time, I would to try cross back my motivation to learn more by read and write. Anything what I likes. Photography is my hobby and focusing of interest, but I still write a relation the others with photographs.

Have you been seen your earth?

This location is near Merapi mountain Yogyakarta Indonesia. First photo is Kalikuning river was lava river from Merapi mountain in 2006, after eruption. Second photo is Kinahrejo, Merapi View after that disaster. Now is open to public to show up a disaster tourism. And third is morning at Kalikuning.

This is a diary by the morning and back to feels the world when I go with my friend and his family weekend. My friend very like to show me the place where is she has a memories about young life. She tell me learn more about life while camping for a night and feels the wisdom of the earth.

Now this place, Merapi just now eruption.

Remember it

In part of Asia, paddy is primary food for middle and upper class. Now Industries remove field of paddy be a building likes homes, shops, ways and others. Many people in third countries no have choice and following the big issue. I do not know as clearly how this happened?

I am just know that future how we can eat if no field produced primary food, if all people just thinking about money and money no more. Are we could eat money if hungry? I think no. Are we just enough have big house, best car and all orientation in the life? Are we did not think about how about next generation? Are capitalism might help us to secure our world? Our forest? Our Paddy? I think no.

Just we are might help our life to prevent this heritage of the world. To still life and to give our generation better life not just a technology, not just a movement but we need a local wisdom to say hello my world. Are you still ok? Are you need we do something for you?

Yes, we must secure and protection our future life.

Traveling and Photography

Have you been thinking about traveling?

Not far from people I was meet, almost of all have a story about traveling. There is fun story and just opposite and any impression moment for remembering. Truly traveling not must spent longtime or needed expensive cost, so unique places which rarely people came could be destination. If you know, in Indonesia have big tradition every years be called “mudik” is a tradition go to back village where are we come from, always before Muslim celebration.

A short traveling even long traveling is very necessity by every people as a brain simulation of remembrance toward something. For me, traveling could help to discover central of gravity in human living. There for make travel planning is like thing, and a certain place on special time and special activity.

In this topic I am often to using photo camera as friend as during traveling, and I called this as photography traveling. Trough view finder of camera I try to saw the focus of life and this activity is about humanism. Although thus I might got with my eyes because of eyes have photographic function to save a memory. Furthermore images help me to showing as detail of visual and relation thins beside that. Notes of photography traveling have power to save and remembering for a time where I was there.
